Instructional Design:-Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance engagement in large classrooms, including interactive approaches in lectures, team-based learning (TBL), and clinical skills sessions.-Coach and train faculty on integrating technology into their teaching, utilizing tools such as Audience Response Systems and online assessment platforms.-Manage the logistics and scheduling of pre-clinical courses, ensuring seamless coordination among course directors and instructors while overseeing Moodle interfaces and related systems.-Prepare and administer active learning sessions, including clinical reasoning exercises and hands-on clinical skills training, while providing individualized support for faculty development.Student Assessment:-Oversee formative and summative assessments for pre-clinical medical students, conducting Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) and managing the Standardized Patient program.-Collaborate with faculty to design reliable and valid written examinations, utilizing various assessment software including Moodle and NBME.-Analyze psychometric data from examinations, providing actionable insights and assisting in the establishment of appropriate passing scores through standard-setting methods.-Create comprehensive performance assessment profiles and gradebooks to facilitate promotion decisions for Medicine I and II students.Evaluations and Curriculum Development:-Manage evaluations for medical courses and clinical clerkships, utilizing data to provide constructive feedback for faculty and curriculum improvements.-Contribute to the Competency-based Medical Education unit and Class Teaching Committees, focusing on enhancing the educational framework and quality assurance.-Engage in the TEPDAD accreditation process, specifically in the assessment and curriculum domains, and participate in the PRIME initiative for educational research and innovation.
