As a recent graduate of High School, I have found myself in a plethora of work opportunities, especially in the tutoring field that have enabled me to become highly sought after across many companies. As a current 1st-year Actuarial Studies and Computer Science student at UNSW, my passion for mathematics and a strong drive for problem-solving through a software approach makes me keen in applying for positions in either field. The rapidly growing tech industry and the advancement of AI is something that peaks my curiosity. Whilst I am young in experience, I have the drive and passion to be at the very front of this technological revolution. The recent increasing presence of AI in the actuarial field and its ability to help actuaries quantify risk and find more effective solutions is a prime example that really captures my dual interests in both fields.
