Since my earliest school days, I have been interested in the pursuit of knowledge and truth, a search which was inspired by my parents and enhanced by my teachers. This has stayed with me into adult life, and I now find myself realizing the importance and beauty of such ideas and principles. Today, the world becomes a smaller place, drawn together by increasingly intertwined economies and global markets. So, it is essential to have a firm understanding of finance to be successful in business. That was my primary motivation to join the Faculty of Finance and Banking Sciences in 2001, which I tried through its four academic years to be merged with the theoretical world of finance. After graduation, I have been working for more than 13 years in the area of Trade Finance in leading organizations of the Banking industry Such as Saba Islamic Bank, Yemen Commercial Bank, United Bank Limited and Qatar National Bank.Currently, I am the Managing Director of the only Credit Guarantee Scheme in Yemen i.e. YLG which facilitates accessibility to financial services for MSMEs through the provision of partial loan guarantees.
