I have over 10 years experience in the hospitality industry. I spent most of this time managing hotels with a capacity of 250 rooms. I handled internal and external emergencies related to guests, employees, weather, and more. This experience helped me understand the basics of running a business. I then went on to work for Favorite Healthcare Staffing as an onsite representative during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this role I was the sole connection between the company and its crisis healthcare providers deployed to the Illinois area. I was in charge of onboarding, scheduling, orientation, payroll, and demobilizing. I managed over 300 healthcare providers while coordinating with the state health department.
