I am the National Accounts Sales Manager at Dehumidified Air Solutions, with over 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry. My experience includes 5 years in the custom Dedicated Outside Air Systems (DOAS) sector and over 5 years in the Natatorium Dehumidification business. I am passionate about my role as a National and Regional sales manager because I enjoy sharing my knowledge about Natatorium design and its complexities with both engineers and contractors. I understand the challenges of indoor pool design and how difficult and expensive it could be to operate. I am driven to provide the most economical solution to help meet their needs. A bit about my history and experience: My introduction to the HVAC industry was via my family-owned HVAC contracting company. I started my career as a Sales Applications Engineer for the custom DOAS line, Eco-Tron. After 2 years as a sales application engineer, I was interested in learning more about how the machines we were selling were being built. I progressed to the engineering division and became a Project Engineer. Two years into my role as a project engineer, I was asked to manage the sales side in addition to my other engineering responsibilities. Although this was a challenging task, it was also an excellent opportunity to advance my leadership and managerial skillset. My team continued to grow over the next year, with two direct reports working to provide our customers with efficient and economical solutions. At the same time, when I started my role as a Sales Engineer, I decided to pursue higher education and obtain MBA as a part-time student. Balancing the workload was one of the most challenging yet most rewarding experiences during my professional career. I was able to implement teachings from my studies to the work I was doing in real-time. I met many interesting peers and professors, which helped shape me into the professional I am today. I also realized that I could take a lot on my plate, organize my responsibilities, and deliver outstanding performance in both my career and my studies while handling multiple projects and tasks. By the end of 2018, I was offered the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position at Seresco Dehumidifiers. Although the new role was slightly different from what I was currently doing, and in a new market, I was given the challenge to absorb, train, and learn as much as possible to start that new role within two months. My experience in engineering and sales significantly helped me with my training, and by the start of 2019, I was a new RSM for Seresco Dehumidifiers.
