My main duties as the CMO of Pharmatest were the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies and tools for a Pharmatest, a preclinical oncology CRO. This included strategic planning of marketing, communications and public relations. On a practical level I managed the company's sales/marketing team. I also designed, created and maintained the company’s marketing material, website and other promotional material, and was responsible for business development and customer acquisition. During my first 5 years with Pharmatest, the company's customer base grew from a few domestic customers to nearly 50 customers worldwide. At the same time the company's turnover increased by more than 300%

I was responsible for running the Digital Image Analysis Core Unit at the Division of Endocrinology, reporting to Division head, Prof. Greg Mundy and Prof. Lynda Bonewald. The job consisted of digitizing ex vivo, in vivo and in vitro samples into digital image format and then measuring and analyzing the resulting data. In that capacity I was also responsible for maintaining and calibrating our bone densitometry, X-ray imaging, microscopy, histomorphometry and electrophoresis gel imaging equipment, as well as teaching their use to others. I was also responsible for perfecting the quality of scientific images for publication and assisiting individual researchers in issues related to imaging in cancer biology.

As the founder and CEO of Digital Arts Studio, a marketing and advertising agency, my duties ranged from administrative tasks to business development, customer acquisition and actual production of the company’s new media and marketing services. Digital Arts Studio's core competency and service was the design and production of new media advertising, as well as graphic design for conventional media, photography and advertising. The company provided marketing services especially for the life sciences industry and research organizations.
