As a data scientist and water resources engineer, I have over thirteen years of experience in water resources engineering and research. I hold a PhD in Engineering specializing in geospatial data science, climate data science, water resources management, coastal engineering, hydrology and hydraulics, hydroinformatics, and climate change from Mississippi State University. My proposed endeavor is to develop state-of-the-art physics-based and machine-learning models for analyzing both riverine and coastal flooding scenarios. I have mastered various software tools such as Ansys Fluent, WASP, ADCIRC, SWAN, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, Civil 3D, and EPANET. I have contributed to several publications and projects related to water quality, hydrology, and hydraulics, working with diverse teams of faculty, students, and professionals. My mission is to advance the knowledge and practice of water resources engineering and to address the challenges and opportunities in this field. I am passionate about learning, teaching, and collaborating, and I value innovation, excellence, and sustainability.
