*Responsible for the overall planning of all finish goods in Mechanical Portfolio from inhouse assets with an estimated revenue of $250Mn yearly & managing a team of 3 subordinates.*Lead the S&OE pilot project in Mech Portfolio with development input which was rolled out thereafter to all other portfolios*Responsible to consolidate the unconstrained distribution requirements & direct shipment demand forecast and creating the constrained net requirement plan based on the bottleneck capacity constraint for the 18 month horizon on a monthly basis*Run supply reviews by SBU with Source of Supply to review constrained NRP forecast and handshake on constrained supply plan & support SBU Lead in IBP topics preparations, preparing planning scenarios/trade-off options for issues related to assigned product portfolio/capacity group*Key contact point for NPD phase in management by consolidating demand for different regions with Global Marketing team ensure that the supply plan of the phase in of NPD is translated into the constrained NRP requirements. Communicate status of inventory build with key stakeholders and follow up with Regional Planners on demand actualization & inventory until product stabilizes.* Learning the new planning tool (Logility) for supply planning & stabilizing the output by a quick learning curve*Provide leadership/Mentor the SBU planners based in Sri Lanka
