The opportunity of interning at a Dolby Digital certified facility is full of benefits. This six-week internship prepared me for studio employment. Through the time working here, skills such as audio designing, editing and mixing were gained. Other skills such as organization, attention to detail, troubleshooting and team work are also gained in the process. During this time, projects such as short films placed high in film festivals and/or other screenings around the world. IMDB credit was a direct result from my time interning.

Close captioning videos became the main task for me through this position. Transcribing dialogue for student projects, online instructor videos, and production safety tutorials are a few projects worked. Being able to create templates using Microsoft office was a skill gained from this opportunity.

This was a school board meeting event were I was giving the opportunity to work with the live audio engineer. I was in charge of the sound board that controlled the microphones and live music throughout the whole event. It was a four hour event in which I was able to learn signal flow, patching and how to navigate a live audio sound board.
