As Security Specialist I worked on creating a security roadmap to implement cloud-based modernization across web applications. I aligned our processes to new worldwide security standards by working with Privacy & Infrastructure squads to include risk-based reviews on our deployments, focused on automating vulnerability scanning, code reviews within secure repositories and enhanced secret management practices using automated vaults for our 100+ application IDs. * I worked through yearly server migrations alongside the infrastructure support teams to reduce End of Life hardware/middle-ware from our inventory of z/OS, AIX, and Linux servers.* I worked as audit focal during the IBM-Kyndryl split and secured a smooth transition of international squads coordinating monthly releases and backlog items with no findings during our Internal and External (PwC) audit reviews.* I coordinated 2 corporate audits across our CIO Incentives Team, interacting with managers, squad experts, product owners and audit managers to secure timely evidence delivery and technical interviews to reach SAT status.

As Technical Owner Delegate and Compliance Product Owner, I oversaw the alignment of Incentives Financially Significant apps (SOX) with worldwide privacy and compliance standards, like GDPR and CCPA.* IT security standards required squads to work with a new mindset by adopting DevSecOps methodologies which I helped implementing across 3 main Geos (Brazil, India, and Mexico) to meet new legal worldwide requirements.* I worked on automating our Change Management and Access Controls processes for increased deployments moving from Monthly releases to weekly and then an increased infrastructure provisioning to adopt new cloud environments by reducing our portfolio of on-prem apps to obtain a 30% reduction of hosting costs (from previous years) by sunsetting old applications and bringing our dev/test environments into strategic hosting locations using ServiceNow.* I coordinated a 2-month Product Owner initiative to better interlock the security requirements with servant leadership practices that helped squads to meet the security milestones and better understand audit requirements.

As Iteration Manager, I worked on implementing, adopting and enhancing Agile practices within 1 year, while also integrating the Scrum Framework across Infrastructure and DevOps squads internationally (India, China, Mexico). * I helped the squads to adopt key practices like iteration planning, retrospectives and showcases that increased the business value of our support processes by reducing tickets wait time from weeks to days. I worked towards becoming an IBM Agile Champion driving benefits to other sub-domains by combining Design thinking and using Value Stream Mapping to create more efficient processes across the squads by reducing open risks by a 50% year to year and meet yearly audit requirements. I also worked on aligning compliance IT standards with Agile development by training Reliability Engineering squads on Security and Privacy by Design practices to reduce a 3-year technical debt gap into a 6-month project to drove the adoption of prioritized backlogs and better communication with product owners.

As Application Owner and Focal point I worked on gathering compliance and financial information for a worldwide portfolio of Sales apps inside the CIO Business Unit (mainly distributed with teams in Slovakia, Brazil, USA,Mexico) with the objective of securing their audit readiness, their alignment to IT security standards, their yearly hosting and headcount expenses and their corresponding asset classification to constantly evaluate savings opportunities while exploring tentative migrations or decommissioning by fusing applications together.* I worked on streamlining Documents of Understanding (DOUs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) alongside the Business Process Owners of 15+ CIO applications to sustain their deployments and infrastructure management by keeping the SMEs on top of security requirements and new company standards for business continuity and accessibility.* I led the sunset completion of 6 applications creating their project plans and securing bi-weeklymilestone reviews to bring down hosting costs that ended up generating annual savings of $200k USD.* As App focal point, I worked inside the LENOVO application migration project inside which I supported several migration teams to setup their network and access controls for cloned applications, creating and monitoring tracking files for the impacted applications, working with Application Owners across different geographies (India, Slovakia and USA) to follow-up migration requirements, scale issues and identify financial savings from the server decommissions of non-used applications.

As Test lead I was in charge of planning, leading, executing, analyzing risks and controlling Functional and System tests (FVT & SVT) of a new Software Tape product inside AIX and Open Systems environments (Linux).* I Coordinated the project charter and scope definition having our management team in U.S. the development team in Japan and the test team in Mexico (Global Resource Planning).* I Created test plan documents for all software functions and supported platforms, following budget restrictions and reusing hardware from stand-by projects instead of buying it.* I Trained out local team on setting the XIV-ProtecTIER-V7000 environment to increase the quality of the tests and engaged directly with field clients to discuss installation doubts of previous releases and developed new communication channels for L1 and L2 support of our products.* I also tracked team progress metrics (# of Variations completed, # of open Defects, # of validated fixes and code updates from all required hardware) for Decision Checkpoint meetings and successfully delivered support letters and final reports before General Availability throughout 2 full yearly releases.
