Communicate project and operational metrics. • Thorough testing of patches in a non-Production environment. Must be able to think ahead to avoid business outages based on the lab results. • Establish and maintain a patch calendar and container groups. • Attend Weekly meetings such as CAB, Problem, Patch exception processing and Compliance meeting. • Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed. • Ability to oversee formal patch management and security procedures. • Renewing certificates on server end to make sure the encryption is up to date. • Perform Secure configurations on server end to minimize the number of inherent vulnerabilities and provide only the services required to fulfill their intended function. • Perform Security Tools Installation like Tanium, Crowdstrike to avoid the server being vulnerable/hacked. • Handling Incidents and addressing it Immediately when required. • Installation and up gradation of OS, Kernel and additional Packages using RPM and YUM. • Analyzing and Rectifying Login and Booting Issues. • Install, support and troubleshoot Linux server • Ability to oversee formal patch management and security procedures • Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases.
