I have been a keen watcher and a avid participant in this amazing world of Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) world for nearly a quarter of a century. While I have had an incredible and enriching journey myself, it has been even more interesting to watch how the EBA world has evolved and how the organizations have transformed themselves and also played a key role in transforming the organizations that they serve and the world at large. The world of three letter acronyms (TLAs) – ERP, SCM, EBS, CRM, PLM at what have you is a fascinating one where Technologies, Leaders, Strategies and Tactics are constantly at war with each other. Strange relationships – competition, cooperation, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions play out in this intriguing marketplace. This exciting meeting point of Business & Technology has given me great learnings and lessons. Looking at sharing these for the benefit of organizations, teams and individuals. Also seeking ways and means to help people through my coaching and mentoring skills.Looking at achieving a good balance in life by following my Passions - Food, Music, Films, Sports, Business and Politics

They had started their operations in India in 1994 and were looking to penetrate the Steel and Power Industry in India. I was selected to drive their growth in East India. I had moved to this organization from the comfortable confines of a very large established company (Tata Steel) with strong processes to an organization which was in a "start-up" mode in India and in a business development territory. Lots of challenges with amazing learning opportunities and my introduction to "selling". In the short less than two-year stint at the company I was able to not only able to achieve the targets for revenue but also get fresh orders for new applications in the Steel sector. Show less
