Responsible for leading the Operations Stream of the “India Business Build Programme”, to build the front, middle and back end Operations of ANZ Bank, in India. On special assignment - initiated the "Integration process" associated with the acquisition of the businesses of RBS / ABN AMRO Bank in Asia; of which Taiwan was the largest and most complex country. • This was a short, focused assignment - the key responsibilities included:
• Creation of the Strategy, Business Development and Operations aspects of the Consumer Finance business for India.
• Setting up a framework for partnerships and joint ventures in emerging markets - with a specific focus on the India geography, by leveraging ANZ’s skills and capabilities across diverse geographies.

The role was to lead and own the Bangalore side of the "Offshoring Programme", involving several key processes from Consumer Finance Australia and Mortgages Operations - Australia, into ANZ’s new Operations capability in Bangalore, India.

The primary responsibility of this role was to identify opportunities where Technology application development, maintenance and support could be transferred to our offshore captive facility in Bangalore, thereby delivering increased value to the ANZ businesses and shareholders.
