Rammohan Paranjape was one of the earliest pioneers of the surfing scene in India for almost two decades, starting at the young age of 16, and still continues to push the surfing scene ahead in the Indian sub-continent as Vice President of the Surfing Federation of India. He has constantly worked towards bridging the gap between surfing nations in Asia and has worked towards putting India on the global surf map.He's also an entrepreneur who's built a thriving surf industry in the country with his ventures in hospitality, distribution of global surf brands in India and providing his expertise on surfing in India to various state governments, brands and stakeholders. He firmly believes India is one of the last few surfing frontiers on the planet and hopes to see India become a major surfing nation in Asia and beyond.Ram also holds the distinction of being India's first surf photographer. He pioneered surf and ocean photography for more than a decade, and his work has been widely published and recognised around the world. His surfing images put India on the international map and opened up various surfing avenues in India. He's closely worked with some of the most acclaimed filmmakers, photographers, and pro-surfers in the world.
