Ramon began his career with Calvada in 1997 as a surveying apprentice and rod/instrument technician. In 2000, he moved into the office as a survey and research technician where he was responsible for assisting with the preparation of topographic surveys, legal descriptions and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys. He provided calculations for construction staking and boundary surveys. He was named Chief of Parties and Mapping Project Manager and was primarily responsible for scheduling, coordination, supervision, and management of field personnel, as well as drafting and managing condominium plans, record of surveys, tract and parcel maps.In 2006, 2009 & 2012, he attended Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon College for Land Surveying, Ethics, Standard of Care and the Business and Professions Code for the California Surveyor courses. Now a 22-year veteran, Ramon is the Senior Project Manager as well as the Manager of Field Services which consists of scheduling the project workflow, assignment and supervision of projects from start to finish, heavy communications with clients to coordinate the efforts of our field staff for efficient and timely performance. He also manages profitability, project deadlines, customer and employee satisfaction, and project quality control.
