o Lead IE team on process /quality improvement activities. Successful completion of 3 Kaizen events for production space optimization (560 ft2 of floor space freed to accommodate two new production lines), WIP flow improvement (2 manufacturing islands removed) and obsolete inventory/equipment reduction. o Conduct DOEs to validate process changes and potential new materials. o Document, create and maintain work instructions for critical operations. o Responsible of BOM maintenance (verification, update, follow up ECO implementation process). o Develop and maintain reflow ovens thermal profiles according to solder preform composition and bonding specs for 5 product families.

o Lead the transference of knowledge and manufacturing processes between South BendControls facility (SBC, Sending Site) and Curtiss-Wright Controls Nogales (CWC Nogales,Receiving Site) for 31 products in a period of 9 months.o Follow up and update the Transfer RAIL on a daily basis following the APQP framework.Host follow up meetings with customers every week.o Coordinate BOM’s loading and Routing Labor loading for each product on the CWCNogales ERP system.o Coordinate the CWC Nogales trip schedules to visit SBC facility in order to follow up andlearn the processes for each product.o Create and implement ECN’s to improve the existing visual aids and manufacturingmethods to meet CWC Nogales quality requirements.o Coordinate work instructions development. Verify translation of visual aids, test proceduresand manufacturing documents from English to Spanish.o Coordinate the first article build for each product in CWC Nogales. Create first articlefindings report to fix all the issues found during the first run. Coordinate operators trainingon each manufacturing process.o Coordinate test technicians training for each family of productso Coordinate the PFMEA’s, Flow Charts and Control Plan development for each product.
