• Develop plan and control for all purchasing activities to manage and lead over 600 SKUs assigned between Sub-assembly parts, Raw and Packaging Materials. Balance purchasing and inventory levels with demand to support.
• Follow up the production plan to ensure materials availability avoiding impacts to the production plan, and be able to react in case of any demand changes.
• Create and release purchase orders according to the MRP requirements, taking into account the lead time of the suppliers and follow up delivery commitments.
• Build international and local supplier relationships maintaining awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences to make the process more effective, ensuring lowest cost of materials and services purchased.
• Expedite materials to meet demand changes and customers expectations.
• Negotiate price & terms with suppliers and monitor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
