Joined the Wyoming Air National Guard in September of 2009 as a traditional guardsman for the Air Transportation unit. Loaded both passengers and cargo aboard aircraft and implement any necessary safety precautions for handling hazardous materials, special cargo mail, and baggage. Also facilitated the execution of airdrops of supplies and other DOD items.Obtained a full-time job in December of 2011 as a Supply Management Specialist. Performs Non-Commissioned Officer Managerial duties as a Supply Management Specialist Craftsman within the Customer Service Section. Expert at managing supply operations within Flight Service Center; working with Maintenance section as a liaison and readily accomplish tasks with 100% customer satisfaction. Procuring requisitions for various aircraft to include but no limited to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, cargo planes, fighter aircraft, numerous types of test and support equipment, countless parts and consumables. Meeting deadlines for mission critical parts. Running programs to include DPAS, LIMS-EV Ad Hoc Reporting, Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S), and Microsoft Office platforms. Experienced in interpreting communications, directives, and DOD publications. Team lead on a 100% warehouse validation which resolved in 270 warehouse discrepancies that resulted in over $2.6 million in assets recovered. Supervises and performs item and monetary accounting and inventory stock control financial planning, and funds control. Wing Equipment Manager, managing over 23 million dollars in the organization assets CONUS and OCONUS. Properly accounted for Capital Assets that reach the 1-million-dollar threshold. This included verification, receipt documents, transactions, pictures and accounted for accurately in the DPAS system. Accounted for $600,000 worth of assets within 3 months of acquiring the position. Trained secondary equipment manager for back-up purposes and to prevent a one-point fail system. Assistant Report of Survey Investigator for the organization which includes investigates and validates all reports for legitimacy and reports findings to the Logistics Readiness Squadron Commander. Completes inventory adjustment of items(s) after approval from logistics commander and/or the United States Property and Fiscal Office. Received the Chiefs Core Value Award for Exceptional performance for the Equipment Accountability Program.
