I have worked for the Town of Queen Creek for more than 12 years. My current position is the Environmental Programs Manager. For the past 8 years, my duties have included: Solid Waste, Recycling and Hazardous Waste Program and Contract Administer. I am also the Town's Air Quality Coordinator, and have recently added Stormwater Management in the Public Works Department. Additional Town experience includes: Pretreatment Coordinator, Internal Utility Auditor, and Engineering Technician. Specialized private sector experience includes: Controller and Water Resources Reporting Specialist for the Queen Creek Water Company, Office Manager for a retail electronics store, and multiple customer service and accounting positions in various organizations. In 2012, I implemented a successful Public-Private Partnership for a, first-of-its-kind in the nation, curbside textile recycling collection. This program received national attention and multiple awards - the prestigious Merit Award from Arizona Forward for Excellence in Public Education/Outreach and AzRC’s 2013 Recycler of the Year Award.
