As its founder, I carry with me a personal and shared mission of contributing to the strengthening of the science and research communication in the Philippines through media and nontraditional journalism. Ologist will be an avenue to showcase Filipino science, scientists, and research, while serving as a medium to emphasize the necessity of science literacy and having a nurturing environment for science communication.

Heads event coverage and documentations, from writing press releases and recaps, photography, videography and video editing, and social media management of the Filipino Patriot Scholars Program Facebook page; maintains and manages relationships with stakeholders and scholars through correspondences via Facebook and email; established the use of social media stories and post-event recaps through photo albums and short-length videos on the Scholars Leadership Camp 2023; serves as Content Editor of the Patriot Magazine and coordinates with alumni-scholars, resource persons, scholars, and suppliers for completion of writeups, collation of needed materials and collaterals, and finalization of outputs for proofreading; served as a liaison officer with scholars and DOST officials for coordination regarding the development of the maiden issue of The Columns Newsletter, which highlights recipients of the Cambodia-Lao PDR-Myanmar (CLM) scholarship, as well as the Layout Editor of the publication.

Identifies and coordinates with key partners for the Call for Proposals campaign and activities; maintains databases of clients and stakeholders, facilitates and hosts meetings and events; works with a team to create content for digital campaigns, marketing, and promotional collaterals, press releases, and publications; assists in monitoring social media and marketing campaign metrics; participates in promotional activities; and assists in administrative work related to the attainment of the institute’s objectives.

Troubleshoots machine errors and jams through reactive and preventive actions to uphold cosmetic quality of manufactured units handled by the area.
