PhD student in Prof. Joost Schymkowitz's and Prof. Frederic Rousseau's lab. In my main PhD project, I showed that proteins have evolved to avoid aggregation by flanking their aggregation-prone regions with N-glycans, thus describing a new molecular function for N-glycosylation.

Laboratory Of Computational Biology

Master thesis student in Prof. Stein Aerts' lab. I used computational tools combined with Machine Learning algorithms for decoding Gene Regulatory Networks (GRN) and cellular identity from single-cell RNA seq data and single-cell epigenomic data (scATAC-seq); with the ultimate goal of linking cis-regulatory regions to target genes.

Development of bioinformatic methods for the identification of new antimicrobial targets, antigens and their epitopes in pathogenic bacteria. Specifically, I created a method for the detection of remote homologous proteins by domain prediction.
