Time Medical Systems Time Medical Systems was founded in 2006 by Professor Q.Y. Ma, PhD and a team of international business leaders, engineers and clinical scientists, in order to develop and commercialize a family of low-cost, high-performance MRI Scanners - sustained by an innovation named High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) Coils, which will create a new era in MRI technology. The company has five regional subsidiaries worldwide operating in the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and India.Responsibilities: Implement procurement strategy and policies; develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions and procedures. Evaluate, select and develop suppliers globally as per company’s guidelines. Responsible for planning, developing and purchasing materials, parts, supplies and equipments in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications. Negotiate with vendors in order to optimize price, payment conditions, quality, delivery performance and service. Build up partnership with key vendors and support suppliers to meet the MRI quality requirement.Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs. Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability, and forecast procurement needs. Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.Handle import and export purchasing transactions, and the commodity categories include mechanical part, eletronic part, plastic product, fibra glass etc.Control budgets of purchasing department.Interview, recruit and train staff, and Lead the procurement team in all phases. Maintain supplier database and materials database; Work with global commodity team to implement sourcing projects.

ISPC is an International Sourcing Promotion Organization approved by Shanghai Municipal Government, dedicated in promoting Shanghai as a global sourcing center, providing sourcing platform for buyers and suppliers in a global context.Responsibility: Organizing sourcing conferences, suppliers and buyers’ matchmaking, sourcing consultancy, sourcing service and projects, and serving for the UNPIC projects (details as following).

UNPIC is established by UNHCR and Shanghai government collaboratively of which staffs are selected from Shanghai International Sourcing Promotion Center. Responsibility: In charge of operations of UNPIC Shanghai office, including setting up supplier database, developing and maintaining sourcing network in China, selecting qualified Chinese suppliers, providing training and assistance to Chinese vendors to register as UN suppliers, carrying out sourcing projects in accordance to the sourcing requirements from UN headquarters, and conducting Chinese market survey.
