► Organizing projects teams in the agency-wide implementation of ServiceNow. We are finishing up the technical requirements of this governance tool, and soon to begin project initialization. My goal is to leverage the ServiceNow’s IT Operations Management product to improve MIS’ operational support by 10%.► Organizing projects teams, and managing vendor expectations in the implementation of Puppet. Technical requirements gathering has been completed and we are now in the process of implementing Puppet. My goal is to leverage this IT automation application to improve software delivery by 5%, decrease provisioning of servers by 4% and create a reporting framework that is easy to perceive for executive management and actionable for our IT operations teams.► Prioritizing a proof of concept for a DNS, DHCP and IPAM (DDI) solution. We finished a POC with Infoblox and now starting a POC with EfficientIP. I am in the process of managing vendor expectations as well as organizing project teams so we can meet our project deadlines. My goal is to leverage the DDI to improve MIS’ overall IP support by 6%. ► Integration planning of PostgreSQL for 22 database environments which are composed of Oracle and Informix databases. This is a complex multi-year project where I am organizing projects teams from UNIX and Database departments.► Prioritizing with various executive stakeholders and data security to harden or move 12 public facing and high profile applications from the demilitarized zone (DMZ). The project was complex due to the sheer number of clients and departments that touch the various applications. The coordination between executives, data security, clients and projects teams allowed us to harden 3 applications and move the delta behind our firewall.

► Managed a team of five highly trained network administrators to support a rapidly growing network infrastructure.► Reduced the dependency on HP Open View (HPOV) by integrating GroundWork, this moved saved over $1 million per year in HPOV maintenance costs.► Consolidated Windows server monitoring on Microsoft Operations Manager saving MIS over $800 thousand in new HP Open View costs.

► Managed a team of two Citrix administrators in support of a growing Citrix infrastructure.► Standardized Citrix support for over 8000 users by properly leveraging the help desk ticketing system, improving application support by 10%.► Implemented the design and migration of Citrix XP FR3 to Citrix PS 4.5, after renegotiating license requirements we reduced license costs by 10%.
