Bio: Don Ramos, AA, BA, BBA, MA, PhD, CECDon Ramos brings a unique blend of business, academic, and industry experience to his consulting and educational management responsibilities. Don is a Certified Executive Coach through Royal Roads University in addition to holding a BA, BBA (Business Administration), AA degree (commercial music,) MA in Communications from Simon Fraser University, and a PhD in Education from the University of British Columbia with a focus on curriculum development and outcomes for citizenship and work realities. His two MA theses are in the areas of technological change and media studies. In addition to his work in education, Don's industry experience includes owning and running numerous businesses and 15 years as an independent music producer. Don continues to combine his passion for leading edge practices in education, production, and business with his commitment to integrity and excellence as he leads the TEC schools as VP Education. Don was appointed by the Province of BC to two terms on the provincial Degree Quality Assessment Board that approves degrees for public and private post-secondary institutions in British Columbia. In addition to being a certified trainer with Vital Smarts (Crucial Conversations) Don has completed the certification for Robert Kegan's SOI - Subject Object Interviewing.
