A new trade agreement was signed by the Indonesian and Australian governments in 2020: the Indonesia Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA). They also established an Economic Cooperation Program (known as IA-CEPA ECP Katalis), which will invest an initial $40m over five years to maximise the benefits of the trade agreement. Better Market Integration is focused on the agrifood and advanced manufacturing (e.g., electric vehicles) sectors and involves working directly with the business communities in both countries to help deepen relationships and accelerate inclusive trade for mutual benefit.

Project Phoenix is a $5 million initiative to build and secure native seed and plant supply to restore landscapes. It is designed to be sector-led, guided by an External Steering Committee, and coordinated by Greening Australia. Project Phoenix is one element of the Australian Government's $50 million Wildlife and Habitat Bushfire Recovery package, introduced after the 2019–2020 bushfires.

Inovact Consulting was the Australian-based representative of DAI, a global development company with corporate offices in the United Kingdom and the United States, and representation worldwide. Brian Ramsay was Deputy Chair of the International Development Contractors (IDC) and an initial Director of the International Development Contractors Community (IDCC).

IDC Australia is a representative body for private sector development practitioners through which development agencies, partners and members can share and access expertise, knowledge, learning and advice to improve development effectiveness. From January 2018 - June 2018, I was a director of and led the process to form a new peak body - International Development Contractors Community (IDCC). As an initial director of IDCC, I engaged people and firms (large and small) involved in delivering the Australian Aid Program to enlist support and funding for the new company.

Contracted by United Medical Protection to set up a new business to deliver services for medical practitioners to reduce their exposure to the risk of medico-legal litigation. A subsidiary company, Australian Medical Risk Assessment Scheme (AMRAS) was established with a board to develop evidence-based plans and services that would be valued by UMP's members.

Brian worked with leaders in the pork industry and the Federal Government to establish Australian Pork Ltd (APL), a $20m industry services company funded with statutory levy and government matching funding for R&D. APL was formed as a company limited by guarantee after gaining overwhelming support from industry stakeholders, wind-up of two statutory bodies (a marketing body and an R&D body) and enactment of new legislation. Brian played a leading role throughout in the reform of the pork industry institutions.Brian was the inaugural Chief Executive of Australian Pork Ltd and during his tenure, Australian Pork Ltd successfully invested over $70m to deliver integrated marketing, R&D and government relations’ services in the domestic and international markets (particularly Singapore and Japan).
