Under the division of University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources, I work as a Research Data Analyst at Nutrition Policy Institute. In collaboration with CDPH, I am working with Nutrition Education & Obesity Prevention Branch (NEOPB) to evaluate California’s CalFresh Healthy Living (CHFL) interventions targeted towards low-income residents of CA. I analyze direct & indirect education in schools related to nutrition & physical activity, and Policy, Systems, & Environmental (PSE) policy changes. In addition to that, I evaluate CFHL’s Eating and Activity Tool for Students (EATS) that measures eating and physical activity behaviors of students in partnership with local health departments. My work contributes towards the goal of preventing obesity and promoting healthy behaviors among low-income adults and children.

My project deals with understanding vaccine-related attitudes and examining the association between vaccine acceptance and socio-demographic and clinical characteristics among mothers in DRC, Africa. My role includes data management and analysis using Base SAS 9.4. In addition, assist in writing manuscript of this study. Also, to conduct literature reviews for the prospective research studies related to maternal and child health in DRC.

My role is in data entry and quality assurance team where I am responsible to enter daily numbers of Covid-19 cases and deaths in West/Pacific region of United States along with quality assurance from the State and County Public Health Department. In addition, I have analyzed data on gun ownership and firearm-related suicides across United States, 2017- 2022.
