As a NPI Wirebond Development Engineer (Focus on Cu WB Development Technology) - Mostly handled Development for Cu WB Technology for all the new incoming Device/ Package - Qualified new package/product/materials/ machine prior mass production. - Support production line just in case there's any issue arises in the line. - Review WB design rule based on the incoming new qualification package/product. - Conduct WB machine parameter optimization thru DOE (JMP) approach. - Performing engineering study that related to material cost down or machine efficiency improvement. - Update new Product Specification specs based on customer requirements. - Currently evaluating CuPd wire for NiPd bond pad by utilizing advanced uPPF leadframe.

As a Process and R&D Engineer (Wirebond Central Process Engineer)….. - Closely support production line regarding process issues to identify root cause then implement immediate corrective/preventive actions. - Actively coordinate with the vendor regarding material improvement as well as to reduce material cost. - Optimize process parameters via DOE study. - Performing technical coordination among various functions such as Process, Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, IE Finance and HR program management. - Responsible for process documentations such as Specifications Update, FMEA, Control Plan and OCAP. - Responsible to conduct line monitoring by analyzing SPC data, then conduct corrective/preventive action if there is any abnormalities or deviation. - Qualification of new machine buy-off to be used for mass production. - Responsible in managing new device/package characterization and evaluation (Qualification & Engineering Lot) and generate detailed report regarding yield and process improvement including cost benefits. - Provide technical support regarding IC technological capabilities at wirebond process to keep pace with customer requirements. - Study and qualify advanced manufacturing technology to improve cost, quality and cycle time. - Review BOM (Bill of Materials) of new incoming product to distinguish the risk of Manufacturing, quality, cost impact and reliability. - Benchmark competitors manufacturing technology, cost structure including direct and in-direct materials.

As a Process Engineer….. - Supervising process Engineers regarding scheduling of their job responsibility and consigned projects. - Monitor Assembly and Final test yield and release report on yield improvement, Failure Analysis and Assembly Discrepancy Reports. - Optimize process parameters via DOE study - Involves in yield improvement program through system enhancement, like to minimized assembly related rejects. - Qualification of new machine (Buy-off) before release it for mass production. - Formulate interim/corrective/preventive actions using Design of Experiments (DOE) Poka Yoke, Eight Discipline (8D), Potential Problem Analysis (PPA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approach. - Investigate any process abnormality issues and define its root cause and implement corrective or preventive actionAs a Maintenance Equipment Engineer……. - Supervising front-line technicians and develop their competency regarding machine repair and troubleshooting. - Generate Preventive Maintenance schedule in all front-line machines. - Responsible in machine calibration, troubleshooting/ repair and including documentation. - Ensure flawless run of production line by sustaining front-line machines. - Generate evaluation to optimize and increase machine performance. - Monitor machine downtime and release report regarding machine improvement. - Release work orders and coordinate with Design, Energy Service, Workshop and Mechanical Maintenance. - Conduct set-up of new equipment together with Equipment Engineering group and then release for mass production. - Prepare monthly report regarding inventory of tools, spare parts and small tool consumption’s. - Actively participate in Quality Management System
