Dr. Ram Surath Kumar currently works as a Project Scientist 'C' at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Headquarters. Previously, he worked as a Research Officer at the National Resource Centre for Oral Healthcare of Children and Elderly at PGIMER, Chandigarh. Dr. Kumar has participated in several biomedical research projects including clinical trials. Gold medalist in MDS Public Health Dentistry. He has conducted various research activities in the fields of Preventive Dentistry, Implementation Research, Health Economics, Systematic Review & Meta-analysis, and other Evidence-Based Dentistry. He also received training in Research Ethics, Intellectual Property Rights, and Biostatistics. His vision is to introduce various healthcare innovations to sectors that focus equally on patient requirements and create a healthy community free of oral illnesses.
