For over a decade, I have had the chance to contribute to the success and exponential growth of a leading industrial research organization built from scratch. In this role I: Developed a number of IPs and made major technical contributions to various R&D projects; acted as a spokesperson to represent the company’s thought leadership in conferences and meetings with customers, media, and partners; initiated relationships, negotiated IP, and led strategic research collaborations involving academia, government, and industry partners; participated in company-wide high-level task forces and served as a champion for research projects with the ability to influence company-wide strategies; presented research strategies and road maps to the members of the senior executive team, and discussed acquisition of complementary technologies.As a result, I have developed deep expertise in leading highly complex R&D initiatives, cross-functional teams and business strategy. I have also acquired expertise in several emerging technologies and their applications in architecture, engineering, construction, and manufacturing industries. My research has involved smart cities, sustainability, advanced computation, digitization, Internet of Things, Simulation, and recently Artificial Intelligence.
