Worked along side the structural team at EwingCole as a structural engineering assistant. Work included the drafting of existing, construction and demolition Plans, as well as steel and concrete details, sections and schedules. Shop Drawings. Welding calculation checks. Calculations.

Worked alongside two experienced architects in a small architectural design firm. Assisted the architects on their daily routines which included surveying, drafting and measurement. Most projects were residential or retail.

Assisted other architects and engineers on their daily work which included CAD drawings, surveying, measurement and design. Started and managed a project which intended to reorganize as well as standardize, floor and site plan drawings of the schools within the district for use by the maintenance department. (Incorporating a GIS Information bank within the drawings was the ultimate goal of the project.)

A team member of the Philadelphia Water Company's GIS Data Conversion Project working closely with other DSTs and Engineers from CSA North America and other companies involved, such as CH2MHILL, LAM Associates, Inc., Schoor Depalma, Agra Baymont and Philadelphia Water Company (PWD). Responsibilities were listed as follows:• Preparing a single source document containing all attribution and the appropriate graphical (topological) representations of the city of Philadelphia’s water mains and facilities to be entered into the GIS database.• Assigning unique facility identifiers (IDs) to ensure proper network connectivity/topology (scrubbing).• In charge of the Rules and Scrubbing Document (standards, guidelines and rules for everyone to follow during the process of scrubbing data), adding new rules, modifying old ones and organizing information so that there would be an updated copy every week.• QC-ing documents scrubbed by other DSTs.• Handling Problems submitted by other DSTs and GIS personnel by solving and submitting resolutions through the project websites Problem Resolution (PR) engine.
