Main Duties: Technical Support in hardware and software. Training users in operation of new systems and IT related tools. Installation and operation of different operating systems. Installation and maintenance of Zimbra Collaboration Suite running on Ubuntu Server. Configuring different services for Linux Server.Achievements:  Research and implementation of Zimbra Collaboration Suite which allowed the institution to have better email, contact lists, agendas, task list services, and briefcases; it allows coordinators to have better control of subordinates functions and workloads. Zimbra also allows institution to make better use of its resources and to have a seamless email platform. Research, test and installation of GLPI and OCSI tools that allowed IT Department to have software and hardware inventories updated. Development of internal training plans and courses in tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, in order to improve users with knowledge and skills. More than 60% of user received training in at least one those tools; and 100% of user were trained in the use of Zimbra (email, agenda, synchronization of meetings, etc).
