Left WFM to pursue the exciting opportunity to work with my former direct leader and other WFM executives, including John Mackey, in their post-WFM venture, Love.Life. Built and developed the Accounting, Finance, and HR teams, transitioning these functions from third party partners to internal resources, as well as migrating from legacy systems and PEO arrangements to NetSuite (ERP), ADP, and other HR related platforms. Responsible for our insurance/risk strategies and policy management, our equity management platform (Carta) and other related investor activities. Have worked through multiple acquisitions and three new location build-out/launches, including the August 2024 launch of our ~45K square foot flagship facility in El Segundo, CA. Supporting our many Team Members and business units as we position ourselves to be a market innovator and leader in the holistic health and wellness space, rethinking primary care and integrated health!

Transitioned to leading WFM's Global Benefits and Wellness Strategy as part of HR, with a team responsible for leadership and oversight of Global Benefit offerings for eligible Team Members (TMs) and their dependents, including our self-funded Medical and Prescription Drug plans, and all Global Wellness offerings. Was the HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer for WFM and and chaired the Whole Health Plan (WHP) Administrative Committee. Co-led expansion of the WHP into multiple markets across the U.S.

Joined WFM as business/finance point for our Health and Wellness team, focused on the strategy and operations of two "on-site" Primary Care Clinics (for WFM employees and their dependents) in Austin, TX and Glendale, CA, and the internally developed/led integrated self-funded medical and prescription drug plan, the Whole Health Plan.

Partnered with both Finance and Commercial/Functional colleagues in Memphis, Minneapolis, and across the globe, with responsibilities for Global Financial Reporting, Investor Relations support, and strategic FP&A business partnering for our Finance/Tax/Treasury, IT, Investor Relations, HR, and Process Improvement Functions. Key business partners were the majority of Wright’s C-suite of leaders, including the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer/VP of Finance.

Led a small team with responsibilities for global product portfolio financial modeling, Integrated Business Planning, and Executive Sales reporting. Supported various M&A activities as part of the US Lower Extremities segment strategy.

Worked in Medtronic's Spine & Biologics division, focused on new product launches as the Finance lead on multiple cross-functional global launch teams, partnering with teams like engineering, marketing, and regulatory to model economics for new product launches across the thoracolumbar, cervical, and biologics portfolios, including a 7 year lifecycle model for a ~$700M spinal product portfolio.

Joined Corewell (then Beaumont) as the internal Accounting leader supporting multiple joint ventures in which the hospital held majority ownership positions. Two Ambulatory Surgical Centers were already in operation with a Kidney Dialysis Center in preopening/development stages. Supported these LLC's and the investor groups for all three until shifting to the medical device industry and relocating to Memphis, TN while in the final year of my MBA program.

Joined Super Fair Cellular during a season of anticipated growth, supporting the core Accounting function for the main business and affiliated businesses while also joining a core team to launch a new product (bluMobile). During the 2008 financial crisis, the company needed to contract and abandon the launch plans.

As part of my role as Controller at Super Fair Cellular, I also supported some of the CEO's other business ventures, including commercial real estate and residential rental property investments.

Worked in a variety of retail banking roles, ultimately completing my time at the bank in our Asset Based Lending group, exiting as a Credit Analyst responsible for supporting clients across a variety of industries and risk ratings. Left the bank to join a family owned wholesale and distribution business to head up their Accounting function and support the founder/owner/CEO during a season of anticipated growth.
