• Manages site activities and coordinates with the Planning Manager for the overall planning (work program, work schedule, histograms, material delivery schedule) of the project activities; through proposal scoping and project start-up.• Provides hands on project management and actively manages the site works, deliverables and dependencies to ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved within the project timeframe and guidelines established by the relevant stakeholders and management committees.• Prepare project status reports to Project Manager and provide project updates on activities and deliverables.• Completes and manages project activities using an industry standard project management process to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.• Ensures method statements, procedures are submitted to the Consultants and are implemented as per their approval.• Reviews BOQ prepared by Quantity Surveyors to ensure compliance with client specifications/ requirements.• Manages all site work and ensures that it is executed in accordance with the contract approved specifications, drawings, plan, and method statement/ procedures submitted to the consultant.• Performs administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules.• Plans and directs site activities related to the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities• Plans, directs and coordinates survey work/ setting out with other staff activities, certifying survey work, and writing land legal descriptions/ requirements.• Engages in technical progress meetings with Consultant/ Client and reviews for any corrective actions.

• Responsible for daily construction activities of the site, coordinating with Project Manager, Construction Manager, consultants, subcontractors and all the concerned departments. • Responsible for checking the method statements in consultation with construction Manager.• Supervise the activities of the Site Engineers / General Foreman / Foreman and assist them to perform effectively.• Responsible for executing the work in accordance with the shop drawings ,specifications ,target construction plan, Method statements• Monitoring progress of work against construction programs and submission of required site reports in accordance with project reporting plan with respect to Quality and Cost.• Monitoring, controlling and coordinating the work of different trade subcontractors and to report on their progress and or trends for problems / delays to Construction Manager and Project Manager. • Reviewing drawings for correctness, clarity of information and take necessary action to ensure sufficient information is available.• Monitoring the safety measures in the site to be matching withthe regulations and precautions.

• Being aware and remaining vigilant regarding all aspects of the construction activity • Responding with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with the building permit approval design.• Inspecting site conditions prior to start of construction activities• Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works.• Advising and assist the contractor on construction procedures in terms of regulations.• Reviewing NCRs. Maintain records of inspections made. Test performed and work executed.• Reviewing materials delivered to the site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment • Observing the safety procedures stipulated by the contractor. Issue instructions as necessary to correct safety violations. Review the contractor’s change order proposals in terms of regulations.• Attending weekly, monthly and any progress meetings held at the site • Checking the correctness and completeness of as- built drawings • Assisting in the final inspections of the work. Review the adequacy and accuracy of the punch list. Monitor the final completion of the work.• Assisting in the handover of the completed facilities and review RFls received from the contractors in relation to regulations.
