International Desalination & Water Treatment (Sultanate of Oman)A leader in the Middle East through providing the market with RO plants and watertreatment, it operates for 25 years in the Middle East and Egypt.Procurement Manager May 2011 up to dateMajor Responsibilities :• Create up-to-date strategies to deliver goods and services that best meet their organizations business needs to get the right solutions, at the right time, for the best price, quality and value.• Manage execution of POs to suppliers based on current demand. Estimates values according to knowledge of market price. Support and execute competitive bid events.• Track and report supplier performance and resolve any supplier performance issues.• Work with suppliers/vendors to ensure that product is being purchased based on the best overall terms and conditions (price, availability, payment terms, return privileges, etc.).• Develop, engage and maintain alternate sources. Responsible for covering up the projects with all the material necessary to construct water treatment facilities.• Responsible for procurement of raw and packaging materials.• Follow up projects in progress stock levels.• Controlling the purchasing budget.• Monitoring delivery times to ensure they are on time.• Ensuring the adequate supply of all required materials, components and equipment.• Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers.• Resolving disputes and claims with vendors and suppliers.• Working to create and promote a safe working environment.OUR SERVICES:- SWRO/BWRO EPC Projects Design, Procurement, Fabrications, Installations, Testing, Commissioning of Complete Water Treatment & Desalination Solutions- Filtration Systems Design, Procurement, Fabrications, Installations, Testing, Commissioning of Filtrations Systems for Industrial or Municipal Requirements- Operation & Maintenance Operation & Maintenance Water Pretreatment, SWRO and BWRO Plants.
