The global PMO organization supports product development teams spread over 20 countries. Transformation takes continuous introspection and redefinition of expectations. Providing a safe space for team members to raise and discuss concerns, suggesting and implementing changes based on feedback and research on the latest and greatest are some of the highlights of the role. Another aspect of the role is channeling information from the C-suite executives to individual team members and providing cohesive feedback from the team back to the executive team.Analyzing data and tweaking behavior patterns to improve is an integral part of being agile. Knowing what data matters to the end goal of the organization takes effort and experience. The challenge any agile organization faces is understanding that there is no one formula that fits all.
