I started off as an Engineer. I began to learn French as a means of survival when living in France, but developed immense passion for the language and culture which led me to continue to develop my skills in the language and achieve my DALF C1. I started my professional life as a Project Coordinator/ Technical translator in Translation and Localisation industry. When doing my research on schools for my children, the fastly evolving domain of education interested me and led me to specialise in International Education. My passion for French language and the Education domain directed me towards being a French Facilitator in an IB school where I also gained the experience of heading the department of languages. I strongly believe that every moment of life teaches us a lot and I enjoy this learning journey. In the last 6-7 years, I have been able to develop an in-depth understanding of the IB curriculum being an integral part of the middle-leadership team as well as having assisted innumerable PD sessions, IB workshops and IB evaluation. My personal mantra- Being Organised and Committed!
