Current- Successfully built an award winning in-house multicultural communications and social media function to support 7 core languages in key markets, and developed a PR and Digital Agency network across 15 countries.- Established partnerships with leading media houses in Asia, Middle East, Sub Saharan Africa and RCIS region for brand profiling.- Member of the company’s executive leadership team overseeing a global team of 80 communications professionals across PR, Marketing Communications, Leadership Communications, Digital Marketing and Content Development.- Managing a 7 figure budget to implement initiatives with a direct impact on brand reputation - Leading a PR team that generates approximately 3000 positive headlines collectively in 15-20 markets annuallyResponsibilities:•Provide leadership to the global communications team in building brand awareness in key markets in Asia, Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Russia & CIS. • Responsible for executive profiling to drive thought leadership.• Serve as communications counsellor to the company’s regional and country management teams.• Oversee marketing and public relations strategies to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted, high-level external audiences, including media and key influencers. - Manage crisis communications in new and emerging markets.- Steer the online reputation management strategy from the ground up focusing on content development, SEO, video marketing, and SERP Management. - Invited speaker at panel discussions and events - Drive communication and awareness around the Group’s Social Impact and Sustainability initiatives.
