• Develop robust manufacturing fluidic methods utilizing Hamilton, Tecan, Beckman, Agilent and like liquid handling platforms. • Understand fluidic (ul and nanoliter) principles and apply them in development and testing• Ability to understand the combination of fluidics and biochemistry/chemistry in order to achieve the performance needed in the end product.• Evaluate Liquid handling/hardware to integrate off-the-shelf and custom instrumentation into the manufacturing/quality control processes• Ability to evaluate and test new Bioautomation technologies. For example, experience with laboratory automation robotics, liquid handlers, optical readers, labelers and cappers, analysis tools and standard laboratory devices in a broad range of use areas (micro and nano scale, high density arrays etc...)• Provide technical leadership on cross functions teams for high-throughput, oligonucleotide operations and R&D applications • Create test plans that have stated requirements and specifications. • Analyze data and communicate results in a team environment. • Experience in several software programming languages such as Visual Basic, Javascript and Labview. Database experience.• Strong bench skills and experimental design • Experience working as a member of a process/product development team, developing highly reliable solutions according to specifications and timelines. • Comfortable with integrating instrumentation with other systems via COM and file read/write operations • Well versed in best practices of software development including architecture, error-handling, intuitive GUI design, documentation and source-code control • Experience with mechanical design aspects coupled with process engineering knowledge • Experience with mathematical modeling using Matlab, Octave on big data, machine learning.
