It began with my drive to bring creativity and culture to Dubai and ended up hosting speakers from Pixar, NASA, National Geographic, Google, and Airbnb, as well as Jessica Walsh and Stefan Sagmeister, and interviewing the legendary designer behind “I NY” Milton Glaser. The vision of -ing is about going beyond inspiration and building things in the real world. -ing is the only festival focused primarily on workshops, the yearly festival host up to 38 workshops with some of the most renowned names in the creative industry.

Generous Design was a Brand & Architecture agency. Our design work embodied generosity through function, beauty, time, and more than expected results. The purpose of Generous Design was to manifest generosity through the design work and its implementation in social, commercial, and environmental projects.

In 2012 Behance approached me to host their Portfolio Review Night in Dubai. Those events led to flying speakers from Europe and the region to host talks and portfolio reviews. The events were a big success; they attracted hundreds of attendees and became a place for networking and inspiration.

The role entailed designing the packaging, billboards, and printed manuals for the company’s electronics brands; Shownic, Panasonic, JVC, Ariston, and others. Soon the founders tasked me with the marketing role of managing the entire marketing budget. We had a Football team sponsorship, exhibitions, billboards, TV Ads, thousands of store signs, and new showrooms opened.
