MLB Infield Coach

1B and 3B coach last 2 seasons and in charge of infield and base running.We were the California League Champions in 2014 and won the Wild Card in 2015

Coaching 1st Base and working with infielders and base running!We were 2014-2015 Liga de Beisbol Roberto Clement CHAMPIONS!I also coach 1Base for the Puerto Rico team in the Caribbean Series 2015.

After been a free agent in 2010 I signed a minor league deal with the St Louis Cardinals.After not making the team in spring training I went to play for the Memphis Red Birds (Pacific Coast League).While playing there in 2011,in 40 games played I hit .275/0/17 with a .362 OBP.After been released by the Cardinals I went and sign a minor league contract with the Toronto Blue Jays and went to play for the Las Vegas 51 in Las Vegas (Pacific Coast League),while playing in Las Vegas after 20 games played I hit .288/1/14 with a .367 OBP.After been released by the Blue Jays I went and signed another minor league contract with the Miami Marlins and they sent me to play in New Orleans Louisiana for the New Orleans Zaphire (Pacific Coast League) for the last 3 weeks of the season.My total numbers that year with the teams were .267/1/32.

While playing winterball in Puerto Rico I played for the Criollos de Caguas baseball team pretty much my hole career,winning 2 championships and also played in 3 all star games.I was and MVP of the league in 2001-2002 season and I also won the batting title that year hitting .361/5/30 with an .430 OBP.I also played on the Carribean World Series in 2002 in Puerto Rico.

After been released by the Pirates in 2010 i signed with the Seattle Mariners and went to play with the Tacoma Rainiers (Pacific Coast League) for about 2 months.After been released by the mariners i signed with the Houston Astros (Pacific Coast League) Round Rock Texas where i played for another 3 weeks.Combined with those 2 teams after playing in 51 games I hit .257/1/17 with a .330 OBP.

After going free agent in 2008 i sign a 2 year contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates,while with the pirates in my 1st year i played in 101 games and hit .230/1/16 with a .335 OBP.The fallowing year (2010) i played in spring training with the Pirates but I ended up getting release the last day of spring training.

After been a free agent i went and sign a minor league contract with the Texas Rangers.After not making the club out of spring training i went to AAA Oklahoma City (Pacific Coast League) and played there for about a month and a half.After playing there in 35 games i hit .258/2/13 with a .375 OBP.After that i got called up to the big club.In my time with the big club i saw action in 104 games and i ended up hitting .230/8/28.In 2008 i sign my 1st guarantee contract with the Rangers and played there the entire season.In 2008 after playing in 105 games i hit .290/6/40 with a .365 OBP making that the beat year of my career.

After been traded by the Padres to the Redsox i spent half of the season with the Redsox and half with the Cleveland Indians.As a Redsox in 27 games played i hit .197/0/4.After that i got traded to the Indians and they sent me to play in AAA Buffalo,New York (International League) for 3 weeks where I played in 21 games and hit .214/0/4.After that i got called up to the big club and that year in 12 games i hit .250/0/1.In 2006 i made the Cleveland Indians big club out of spring training and that year with the club after 33 games played i hit .209/1/8.I also got sent down to AAA Buffalo New York that year and that year as a memeber of the Buffalo Bisons in 28 games played I hit .242/2/11 with a .377 OBP.

After getting traded by the Mariners to the Padres I spend 3 year with San Diego,playing shortstop,3rd Base and 2nd Base those 3 years but most of the time at shortstop.On my 3 year there i became the utility player of the team after playing everyday the first 2 seasons.In 2002 in 128 games played i hit .274/2/32 with a .344 OBP.In 2003 after playing in 116 games i hit .261/3/30 with a .342 OBP.In 2004 with the arrival of Khalil Green i became the utility player.That year after 52 games played i hit .235/1/13.I also got send down to AAA (Pacific Coast League) to play for the Portland Beavers,as a memeber of the beavers that year and after playing in 53 games i hit .299/8/34 with a .402 OBP in 184 AB.

2001 wast first big league Spring Training invite.I was sent to be the starting shortstop for the Tacoma Rainiers (Pacific Coast League).As a memeber of the Rainiers that year in 127 games played i hit .300/20/79 with a .397 OBP.I was the starting shortstop at the all star game that year and i was the team MVP,and also broke a fielding record for the Rainiers as a shortstop with a .979 fielding percent.

After Spring Training i was sent again to repeat AA and be the starting shortstop for the New Haven Ravens (Eastern League).On my second year with the Ravens in 127 games i hit .286/8/59 with a .367OBP.I made the all star team that year,reach the playoffs and won the Eastern League Championship Title.

After Spring Training i was sent to be the starting shortstop for the New Haven Ravens (Eastern League).That year i had the chance to play for a great coach and x major league player that teach me a lot about the game (Henry Cotto).As a memeber of the Ravens that year in 127 games I hit .258/5/45 with a .354 OBP.

After Spring training i got sent to be the starting shortstop for Lancaster Jethawks (California League) where i played in 121 games and hit .276/2/72 with a .384 OBP.I also earn All Star honors on the second half that season.

After finishing Spring Training i got sent to play shortstop for the Wisconsin Timberratlers (Midwest League),i had the chance to play baseball with 2 of the best coaches i ever played for (Gary Varsho,Omer Muñoz).After playing 131 Games i hit .269/8/49 with a .373 OBPWe did reach the playoffs but lost in the 1st round.

After finishing spring training in 1996 i stayed in extended spring and played with the Peoria Mariners as a Shortstop for another 2 moths (June,July).In august i was sent to the short season Class A league(Northwest League)in Everett,WA.While playing as a starting shortstop for the Everett Aqua-sox,in 33 Games played i hit .278/1/18 in 126AB.That same year i was also sent to AAA Tacoma Rainiers (Pacific Coast League) to played shortstop,second base and third base there.In 18 games played i hit .224/0/4 in 49AB.After playing in AAA I got sent to play in the (Midwest League) with the Wisconsin Timberratlers that same season.Played there in only the las 3 Games of the regular season and hitting .300/0/1 in 10AB.I also then played in the playoffs there that year.Had the chance to play with David Ortiz that year in playoffs with that team.

After getting drafted in 1995 June draft on the (27) round (734) overall i got sent to play my 1st year as a professional baseball player to the (Arizona League)Rookie League with the Peoria Mariners.As a player for the mariners that year i played in 39 Games hitting .206/0/11.When the season was over on september 1st i was also invited to Instructional League.There i had the chance to learn about the game and also met players like Raul Ibáñez,Jason Varitek and Jose Cruz Jr.
