When you’ve been brought up and educated in the world of sports from a young age, it’s hard to get away from it. I grew up as the son of a senior basketball coach, so the desire to win and the understanding that sports is a way of life have been part of who I am ever since I can remember. I’ve always been curious about coaching and over the years I have watched how coaches and players interact, treating each other with care and mutual professional respect. I also found that special connection in fitness studios and gyms, between fitness coaches and the people they train. Just like players, the people who train and work out want to learn from their coaches in order to win, but their victory is different and comes in the form of health and fitness goals.Unlike basketball team coaches, most fitness coaches want to take a step forward in their careers and at some point start a business born from their desire to help people live healthier lives.They want to engage in what they know best and love to do - coach and inspire people.
