Encountered main challenges including a data model and UI limitations.• Ran the DBCC checks and fixed the possible DBCC issues identified during the upgrade.• Oversaw significant changes from GW7 to GW9 in terms of PCF elements, removing the deprecated properties and modified the PCFs to use the new properties.• Revamped the configuration and integration modules in the Policy Center /Claim Center application Data model, User Interface, Business Rules, and Integration layers.• Revised the Database triggers to remove unused Entities, columns, and Type lists.• Identified the deprecated APIs and modified them to use the latest APIs introduced in Guidewire9.• Utilized java classes to administer GW7 and ATLAS that was created and sent the payloads to the external applications.
