As the Chief Operating Officer of Bdlisteners, a mental health organization dedicated to creating mental health awareness in Bangladesh, I have effectively spearheaded initiatives aimed at helping those in need. Through collaborations with Dhaka University and the Ministry of Health, we have successfully developed mental health awareness programs. Additionally, we have established a consistent and reliable counseling support system for our clients. By utilizing my entrepreneurial skills, I have played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization and the delivery of impactful services to individuals requiring mental health assistance.

As a National Trainer, I made significant contributions to the adoption and adaptation of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) in Bangladesh. This initiative was led by MHFA Australia and MHFA England in partnership with the Innovation for Wellbeing Foundation, aiming to launch, develop, and roll out the MHFA course across the country.MHFA Bangladesh emerged as the 24th country to embrace this important program, accredited by Public Health England. In my role, I facilitated and delivered various MHFA courses, including standard MHFA, Youth MHFA, MHFA Workplace, MHFA Lite, and Armed Forces MHFA. I ensured the effective dissemination of crucial mental health knowledge, empowering individuals to provide initial assistance and support to those experiencing mental health challenges.This experience allowed me to play an instrumental role in promoting mental health awareness and building a network of individuals equipped with the necessary skills to provide assistance. As a dedicated volunteer, I provided vital support and assistance over the phone at the suicide prevention helpline, Kaan Pete Roi. This emotional support helpline, the first of its kind in Bangladesh, aims to address the immediate counseling needs of individuals in distress.Staffed by trained volunteers, the helpline serves as a lifeline for those experiencing feelings of despair, isolation, distress, and suicidal thoughts. With a commitment to promoting mental health and preventing suicide, I actively listened to callers, offering confidential support and empathy during their most vulnerable moments.Working closely with the founders and fellow volunteers, I contributed to the mission of alleviating emotional pain, reducing isolation, and providing hope to members of the community. By offering immediate emergency counseling and fostering a safe and confidential space, the helpline played a crucial role in suicide prevention and mental health promotion.Through my volunteer experience at Kaan Pete Roi, I honed my active listening skills, developed a deeper understanding of mental health issues, and cultivated a compassionate approach in supporting others. As an honors student, I began my professional journey in the field of graphic design by taking on a part-time job in Beginning Production Limited. Thanks to my dedication and skills, I quickly rose through the ranks and was soon promoted to a full-time Graphic Designer role.During this time, I had the opportunity to work for a specialized communication agency that focused on crafting engaging and impactful internal communication materials for British American Tobacco (BAT). This agency was renowned for its expertise in creating dynamic magazines, newsletters, and other media that effectively conveyed BAT's brand message and values.The agency's approach was centered around innovation and strategic storytelling. They understood the importance of capturing employees' attention and fostering engagement within the organization.
