Have done various engineering courses teaching stints at polytechnic/diploma (1993-94), bachelor and masters engineering courses (1995-1196) in India. Was offered teaching instructor role at California, USA university at the completion of my master's coursework (1996-1998) program in 1998.

Designed and implemented prototype software components for a SONET ADM/MSPP. The product was Cerent 454 (later the Cisco 15454). The Cerent 454 was a second generation SONET ADM (Add-Drop Multiplexor) that also supported TCP/IP data switching.
