Researcher at Civil Engineering Laboratory (LECIV). Study of concrete degradation under organic acid attack, using agro-industrial wastes as supplementary cementitious materials. Study of photocatalytic and mechanical properties of cement-based materials with the incorporation of TiO2 and pozzolans. Use of experimental and analytical techniques for micro-macro evaluation of building materials. Research supervision of undergraduate and graduate students. Lecturing experience on several topics related with building materials and structural analysis.
