Captain of research and ocean survey vessel, fulfilling client needs in the science and defense sectors. Vessel is a support platform for ROVs, AUVs, Uncrewed surface vehicles, as well as providing deck support & lab space for oceanographic survey and research. Currently working off of the California coast.

Captain of 225 foot paddlewheel, primarily working the Ohio River along Cincinnati. Vessel makes numerous trips both up and down river, making locks along the way. Expertise is vessel safety management and inspection, enhancing passenger experience, motivating crew and staff.

Captain of four point vessels working in the Gulf of Mexico, tasked with subsea dive support for offshore oilfield infrastructure and geothechnical survey work. Worked with this unique vessel platform in support of Surface Gas Diving for Aqueos Corp and coring operations for Fugro McClelland.

Master of ocean going research vessels, working coastal United States, Caribbean, South America and North Alaskan offshore waters. Worked vessels as support platforms for seismic, bathymetry/side scan sonar, CTD, ROV and AUV operations, benthic and water analysis. Vessels served pivotal roles in coral reef studies, and the development of autonomous subsea survey vehicles in over 14,000' of water.

In addition to a prolific seagoing career, I have ventured beyond the traditional role of Bridge Officer and held roles at the management level, with responsibilities that include:- USCG enlisted, active duty- Offshore towing, Tug and Barge- Vessel inspection- Class and client safety audits/inspections- Oil spill containment and recovery- Environmental project management- Environmental staffing- Safety and Environmental Training (HAZWOPER)- Manager for environmental remediation/construction - Project management
