It comprised activity around the world, from heads of state to heads of industry, but in the end I read ‘Zero to One’ with Peter Thiel’s thesis that the physical sciences had been somewhat stagnant since 1971 while we’ve been on a globalization thrust… And that innovation only really pushed through in telecommunications and computing… And that struck me somewhat profoundly, so though I was late to the party, I started scanning the horizon for emerging digital tech to see what I could get into, solve and evolve.Especially as those who made inroads into Cleantech seemed to have taken advantage of the scale that tech can deliver.
