Engineered completions in the Barnett Shale, Viola, Marble Falls, and wildcat formations in the area. Worked with a multidisciplinary team and presented completion plans to upper management before implementation on each well. Key member of the engineering team tasked with developing stimulation techniques and improving technology to achieve successful well results during EOG's initial entrance into the Barnett Combo play. Key member of the engineering team tasked with fracking EOG's first Eagle Ford horizontal well in the oil window. Conducted ongoing analysis of completions data base for well look-backs to discover trends supporting advancement in technology, cost reductions, and operations optimization. Conducted extensive testing of surfactants and frac chemical combinations in order to optimize surface tension reduction and enhance oil recovery. Utilized real-time microseismic monitoring on majority of frac jobs to study the effect of pump rates, sand concentrations, total job volumes, and perforating schemes which successfully increased reserves by improving near-wellbore fracture network complexity and reducing well-to-well communication.
