• Lead and support a team of five technical specialists to create and deliver curriculum with a PYD approach and to offer support to the YDRCs for technical programming. Ensure PYD and quality in quarterly youth intern training of trainers. Model excellent training for more than 150 youth interns and YDRC staff. Ensure quality of programming and support for YDRC interns. • Work with the Youth Development Resource Centers (YDRCs) to implement the technical programs including leadership, media, ICT and employability; and to design a comprehensive portfolio of quality youth programs based on youth demands and needs in each governorate. Ensure youth engagement and PYD in the designing, planning and implementation process at YDRCs. Ensure family involvement in the monitoring and evaluation process. As result, and in 2017 only, we reached more than 8000 youth. • Work with the 9 YDRCs’ board members and 2 youth implementing partners to build their capacity to adopt PYD and Service Learning approaches that see youth as the solution to challenges, keep youth engaged, empowered and give them the needed knowledge and skills to lead. • Review the existing, design new and updated the technical manuals and training curricula in media, ICT, employability, leadership and youth-led initiative technical areas to ensure quality, updated programs that respond to youth needs, incorporate youth voice, and ensure building their competencies. • Lead the Leadership in Action technical area, including materials development, and field work coordination. Manage the service learning driven youth-led initiatives selection process, including developing the guide and selection criteria and overseeing the application and selection/award process. More than 180 youth received LIA training and more than 1200 youth were actively involved in the designing, planning and implementation of more than 55 Service learning, Youth Led Initiatives

• Lead the selection process for 10 academic leaders, including university faculty and Ministry of Education and Higher Education staff from the West Bank and Gaza for a four-month leadership training program at Arizona State University. • Conducted the pre-departure orientation workshop that includes the culture awareness and learning environment for Palestinian academic leaders in Arabic.• Presented the education system and culture of the Ministry of Education to the ASU faculty in English. • Managed academic leaders’ presentations of education reform projects to MOEHE staff, building relationships with the Minister, Deputy Minister, and other high level staff.
