Randa J. Maali-Itani received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with Honors in the Major from Rollins College and her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and second in her class overall. After her first year of law school, Randa was invited to become a member of the Barry Law Review based on her academic performance, and later served as its Executive Editor. She was also selected as a member of the Moot Court Honors Board, where she competed in the American Bar Association and New York City Bar National Moot Court Competitions. In 2007, her team took home second place best brief honors, and placed 5th in oral arguments at the regional round of New York City Bar Moot Court Competition in Atlanta. Prior to joining Couture Law P.A., Randa has worked as in-house counsel for an Orlando-based corporation; an associate attorney with NeJame, LaFay, Jancha, Ahmed, Barker & Joshi, P.A., where she exclusively handled cases in the firm’s Immigration and Civil/Business divisions; and an Assistant State Attorney in Brevard County.
